This roof panel forming machine is designed for continuously rolling and cold forming steel sheets. The roof sheet forming machine adopts steel sheet as the raw material, decoiling, continuously rolling and cold-forming, then automatically cutting the sheet to specified size and conveying the finished panel to the runout table.

Component Details

1. Passive decoiler
a. Parameter

b. Main structure and features
(1) The frame is welded by rectangular pipe to ensure the stability.
(2) The coiling block is made up of 4 separate fans on both sides, and it expands the steel coils by tightening the screw. 2 kinds of screws are designed for coil ID of 508mm and 610mm.

2. Guiding device
a. Left and right guiding bars are designed to control the width and position of the steel sheet.
b. The sheet is guided in the correct position and moves to the roll forming equipment.
c. The guiding bars can be adjusted manually by screws, and the left/right bar can be adjusted separately.

3. Roll forming system
Roll forming system consists of machine frame, transmission parts, roll forming rollers, etc.
a. Machine frame: welding structure with blasting treatment.
b. The roller is made by high quality No. 45 steel with hard chrome plated surface.
c. Inner support structure of roller: guiding column.
d. Back/forward movement of roller is driven by chain, and part of the upward/downward movement is driven by gear.
e. Manually adjust the screw bar to adjust the distance between upper and lower rollers for sheets with different thicknesses.

4. Post-cutting device .
a. This cutting system is made up of frame, cutting mould, guiding device and cylinder..
b. Cutting blade material: Cr12, quenching treated..

5. Runout table
a. It is used to support the finished panels and stack the panels together after cutting.
b. This runout table has two parts, with each part 2-meter long.
c. The frame is welded by square pipes, and there are rollers on the top and screws on the bottom.

6. Electric control system
a. PLC control and frequency speed adjustment help realize automatic production.
b. Human and machine interface facilitates the setting of plate length, quantity, etc.
c. Operation mode: touch screen and buttons.
d. Encoder is designed to calculate and measure the length of panels.
e. Mitsubishi PLC.

7. Hydraulic system
a. Separated hydraulic stations are designed to supply power for cutter .
b. Main valve: well-known Chinese brand.

Inspection & acceptance
1. Raw material:
a) The test sheets should conform to technical specifications: GB/T716 for cold rolling sheets, GB/T12754 for hot rolling sheets, GB/15675 for galvanized steel sheets. Other sheets should conform to corresponding standards.
b) A tolerance of - 2mm is allowed for sheet width.

2. Finished sheet:
a) When the length ≤ 6m, the tolerance is ±4mm/meter; when the length > 6m, the tolerance is ±1mm/meter.
b) Angle tolerance is ±2o (within 300mm), or ±1.5o (when it’s over 300mm).
c) Torsion of sheets: ≤1.5mm/meter.
d) For other terms of acceptance, please follow standard of profiled steel plate for building: GB/T12755-2008.
