Semi-automatic C&Z interchangeable purlin roll forming machine can produce both C and Z purlins with different specifications in one machine. The change between C and Z will be realized by manual adjustment. In addition, it’s unnecessary to change the rollers when producing C or Z purlins with different sizes. This 350mm semi-automatic C&Z interchangeable purlin roll forming line can automatically cut to length, punch and form the panels. Operators just need to input the length, distance between holes, quantity, etc. into the control system.

Working Flow
Decoiling → panel guiding → panel levelling → punching → cutting to length → roll forming → conveying panels to runout table

Machine Components
1. 3-ton hydraulic decoiler
a. Main parameter

b. The decoiler mainly consists of frame, core shaft, braking system, coil press frame, etc. The braking system and coil press frame are driven by air cylinder.

2. Guiding platform
It helps the operator to put sheets at right direction. Left side and right side can be adjusted separately by manual screw.

3. Levelling system
It consists of several conveying rolls and seven leveling rolls. In order to get best levelling result, the space between the rolls can be adjusted according to different thicknesses of panels.

4. Pre-punching system
a. Material of punching die: Cr12 with quenching treatment.
b. Welded frame for enhanced rigidity.
c. The power of punching is provided by hydraulic station.

5. Pre-cutting system
a. Cutting blade material: Cr12 with quenching treatment.
b. Welded frame for enhanced rigidity.
c. The power of cutting is provided by hydraulic station.

6. Roll forming system
a. The roll forming system consists of machine frame, transmission parts and roll forming rollers, C/Z interchangeable parts and manual specification adjusting device, etc.
b. Machine frame adopts 32# groove steel as the main beam, with support frame in the middle.
c. The roller is made of D2, which is treated by CNC machines. The surface of roller has been quenching treated.
d. The screw bar can be adjusted manually to change the distance between upper / lower rollers to deal with sheets of difference thicknesses and produce C and Z purlins with different sizes.
e. A safety cover is designed to assure operation safety.

7. Runout table
Two runout tables are designed, with each one 4 meters long.

8. Hydraulic system
a. It supplies power for cutting and punching.
b. Main valve: well-known Chinese brand.

9. Electric control system
a. PLC control technology to allow automatic production.
b. The system provides user-friendly human-machine interface to facilitate the setting of plate length, quantity, etc.
c. Operation mode: touch screen and buttons.
d. Encoder can calculate and measure the length.
e. Mitsubishi PLC and inverter.

Sheet thickness tolerance: ≤ ±0.2mm
Sheet width tolerance: ≤2mm
Sheet surface does not rust.
b. Product requirements
Length tolerance: ≤ ±4mm while the length is less than 6m, and ≤ ±6mm while the length is more than 6m.
Camber tolerance: less than 1.55mm.
